I'm the founder of Pawtential Bio Ltd., a pet healthcare company developing cell therapies for chronic conditions. I have an academic background in cancer and stem cell biology and have previously used this expertise in two biotech start ups. At Uncommon Bio Ltd., I led the iPSC process development programme, translating early stage R&D into bioreactor ready processes for achieving high density growth and differentiation of cells. At Shift Bioscience Ltd., I contributed to the gene target validation programme and implemented high throughput screening capabilities. At Pawtential Bio, I am using all of the previous experience to design an accessible cell therapy for all pet owners, to prevent or delay the onset of chronic conditions in cats and dogs with an early focus on cadiomyopathies and inflammatory bowel disease.
