I’m Laura Moyano, a researcher in plant biotechnology at the Faculty of Exact Sciences (UBA–CONICET, Argentina). My work focuses on developing plant-based protein expression platforms using tools such as viral vectors, intragenesis, and genome editing. I’m currently working on translating these developments into practical applications for agriculture, particularly in generating crops with improved stress tolerance and producing antimicrobial peptides as sustainable alternatives to chemical inputs. I’m especially interested in bridging science and industry, working on projects with strong potential for transfer and scalability.
